Coated paper finish that does not shine, but prevents much of the ink is absorbed by the paper therefore offers an excellent image. Matt references are commonly used by book publishers.

Generic name given to all the different processes and post-impression given to the work of printing its final form, highlights include finishing processes: bending, binding, stapling, gluing, etc..
